Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors

​​ Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord. Proverbs 8:34-35 Merciful Lord, it is easy to get caught up in the things of this world, so I humbly ask you to help me keep my eyes on you, give me hunger for your word and fill me with your Spirit. May I be watching at your doorway and find your favor, O Lord, may I be an obedient and humble servant ready to do your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Create in me a pure heart,

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Psalm 51:10-12 Gracious Lord, I humbly come to you today asking you to cleanse me from all unrighteousness, asking you to create in me a pure heart, one that longs to do your will, one that loves unconditionally and forgives all wrongs. Give me a willing spirit, O God, give me hunger for righteousness and for your Word and always keep me at your loving side, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For he guards the course of the just

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Proverbs 2:6-8 Father God, I know that everything is in your loving hands, but you have given us free will to choose and it is up to me to make the right choices, to walk blameless before you and surrender my life to you. I give you control to guide the course of my life O Lord, guard me, be my shield and protect me from anything that would steer me away from you. Give me your heavenly wisdom, knowledge and understanding as I faithful follow you and do your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Humble yourselves

​The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. Matthew 23:11-12 Gracious and loving Father, I confess my sins to you and ask you for forgiveness Lord, I ask that you put away any pride that may be in my heart. Help me stay humble and obedient to your will, O God, that your grace and mercy will continue to be with me every day I walk the path you have set before me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ

​Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. Ephesians 1:3-4 Father God, thank you for choosing me before the foundation of this world, thank you for the spiritual and extraordinary blessings you have given me in your Son, Jesus.Keep reminding me who I am, O Lord, a child of the one true King and covered in your love. May your holiness surround me, may I be a shining witness of your amazing love and grace and may I walk holy and blameless in your sight, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice

Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done Psalm 105:1-5 My heart rejoices daily and I praise your glorious name, Father God, I thank you for the wonderful things you have done in my life, and the blessings I have received. You are my strength and my rock, O Lord, and I ask that you will bless me as I seek you through your Word and prayer, in Jesus' name I pray. Amen

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear?

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 Merciful and loving Lord, thank you for being my light and my salvation, thank you for reminding me that I should not fear because you are always with me. Be my stronghold each and every day, hold me close to you, O God, never let me go and fill me with your peace, your love and your strength. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
