My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

​I cry aloud to the Lord; I lift up my voice to the Lord for mercy. I pour out before him my complaint; before him I tell my trouble. When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who watch over my way. Psalm 142:1-3 Sovereign Lord, thank you for always being there for me, thank you for hearing my voice and being merciful to me. Help me keep my eyes fixed on you, O Lord, to take refuge in you as you watch over my way. Keep me safe, my strong deliverer, and when my spirit grows faint, strengthen me with your Spirit and love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. James 3:5 Lord and Father in heaven, thank you for being my God, my hope and my fortress. Help me be peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, O Lord, may no corrupt words come out of my lips, guard them that they may only be to praise you, give you honor and build up, not tear down, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Matthew 7:1-2 Merciful and loving Lord in heaven, I thank you for not treating me as I deserve to be treated and for not giving up on me. I thank you for being a just and loving God who forgives all our sins and loves us with unconditional love. I humbly come to you today asking you to help me be more like you, help me not to judge or criticize others and remind me that you are the only one in position to correctly judge anyone, O God. Help me obey and carry out your will, to love unconditionally as you do and to be a mirror of your love and grace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. 1 Peter 3:10-12 Loving Father, I thank you for being so patient with me, I ask that you help me seek peace and pursue it. Help me love deeply, be compassionate, humble and obedient that I may inherit your blessings that can never perish, spoil or fade. Guard my lips, O Lord, and take away anything that may hinder my prayers so that you never turn your eyes away from me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly,To love mercy,And to walk humbly with your God?Micah 6:8 Merciful and gracious God in heaven, I turn to you with all of my heart and offer my life to you, I ask that you help me be just, to love mercy and walk humbly with you as you have asked me to do. May I show mercy to others in humility and gentleness, O God, may I be a reflection of your love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. Proverbs 24:3-4 Lord Almighty, you who created the heavens and the earth, be the architect of my spiritual home, build within me a heart of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Bless me and fill me with your Spirit, O God, establish your kingdom in my heart and remind me to search for your beautiful and heavenly treasures first. Be Lord of my household and fill it with your blessings, wisdom and love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Isaiah 44:3 Thank you merciful God and righteous Savior for your promises, for your unconditional and unwavering love. I ask that you pour out your Spirit and blessings upon me and my loved ones, O Lord, strengthen us and guide our path, lead us to your side and keep us in your loving care, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
