Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed Lord in heaven, you are the Father of mercies and grace, you are the God of all comfort and I thank you for being such an amazing and merciful God, my comforter. May I be an instrument for your kingdom, O Lord, and may I be able to give the same comfort to others that you have so graciously given me, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

​Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Matthew 5:6-9 Father God, give me hunger for your precious Word and thirst for your righteousness, fill me with your blessed Spirit and purify my heart. May I be peacemaker, loving and merciful, O Lord, may I walk in the footsteps of my Savior, that I may be worthy of being called your child, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love. 1 Corinthians 16:13 Blessed and merciful Lord, keep me on guard at all times, focused on you and not on the world. Help me stand firm in my faith, in your love and tenderness and be courageous, trusting that you are always standing by my side. May my actions always bring you honor and glory, O Lord as you draw me closer to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. Psalm 37:23-24 Almighty and merciful Lord, make my steps firm, direct them by your word, instruct me and teach me to trust you with all my heart. I bring all my fears, doubts and anxieties and lay them at your feet, O God, bring peace into my heart and do not let me stray from the path you have set before me. Uphold me into your righteous and merciful hand and do not let me fall, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread? When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell. Though a host encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise against me, in spite of this I shall be confident. Psalm 27:1-3 Merciful Father in heaven, I thank you for being my defense, my comforter, my redeemer and strength. I humbly ask that you help me stand confident and firm in my faith regardless of the crashing waves and the storms I may face, O God. Fill me with your strength and your merciful love, let me feel your gentle hand upon me that I may not live in fear, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​ So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 Everlasting God, Creator of the ends of the earth, you are my God, my Rock and my Savior, but sometimes the worries and fears of this world are more than my soul can bare and even though I know that you are in control of everything, I can get overwhelmed with fear. Fill me with your everlasting peace, O Lord, strengthen me and uphold me with your righteous hand. Let me feel your loving embrace and keep reminding me who you are and showing me your great mercy each day, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground. For your name’s sake, Lord, preserve my life; in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble.Psalm 143:10-11 Thank you Father God for your everlasting love, guidance, and understanding, thank you for a new day of life, for your protection and for the opportunity to serve and honor you. Pour out your grace and blessings upon me, O Lord, and upon all my loved ones, teach us to do your will, give us the desire to always serve and follow you with all our hearts, I pray in Jesus' name.
