Trust in the Lord

Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright. Psalm 20:6-8

Don't put your faith in material things or even in people, put your faith and trust in God alone. When you put your trust in the Lord, you'll feel as if the weight of the world has been lifted off your shoulders. Trust in Him and look to Him in all that you do and in all that you experience, even when it is difficult. Remember that we serve the true and awesome God of the universe, your biggest problem is nothing for Him. The more often you see God's loving hand working in your life, the easier this trusting becomes. Your faith will also grow by hearing and reading the Word of the Lord daily. Trust in God and He will lift you up and strengthen you

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Psalm 139:17-18  Father God, I can't even begin to comprehend that your thoughts toward me outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore, that your thoughts towards me are not thoughts of condemnation or of judgement, but thoughts of absolute love, and all you want to do is to bless me abundantly.
