God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Merciful Father, I know you have not promised us an easy life, I know that we live in a fallen world, full of sin and suffering. I am so thankful that I can claim your promises to be with us through the storms of life and when I am in the middle of a storm, I ask that you build my faith, teach me to trust in you and worship you through the storm. Thank you for reminding me how much I need you in my life, O God, show me your power, mercy, grace and comfort and may I use the comfort I receive from you to comfort others and bring them into your Kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 Mighty and wonderful God in heaven, blessed be your Name in all of the earth, thank you for your amazing promises and wonderful words of love. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
