By his wounds you have been healed

He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

 My most loving, kind and merciful Lord, thank you for bearing my sins on the cross, thank you for loving me so much that you gave you life for me. I know that nothing I will ever go through can compare to the price you paid at Calvary, O Lord Jesus, help me to discern your will for my life, to live for righteousness in your presence, and share the good news of your kingdom with others, I pray. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 Mighty and wonderful God in heaven, blessed be your Name in all of the earth, thank you for your amazing promises and wonderful words of love. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
