But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord

Serve the Lord alone. But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:14-15

I choose to serve you wholeheartedly Lord, because you alone are my God, you have blessed me and kept me in your loving hands. Search my heart and purify it O God, help me put away anything that may interfere with my walk with you or may lead to spiritual destruction. Don't let me become distracted by the passing concerns and pleasures of this world, but keep my eyes fixed on you and an eternal life at your side, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
