The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Psalm 34:7

Merciful Lord in heaven, we live in a fallen world full of sin and surrounded by those who have no fear of doing evil in your eyes. We need you in our lives, we need your protection and we take refuge and comfort in your blessed promises. Send your holy angels to watch over us each day, O Lord, watch over our loved ones and deliver us from all that is evil. Help us to trust that you will take care of us because you have promised to do so and fill us with your peace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
