I watch in hope for the Lord

But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me. 
Micah 7:7

Mighty God, thank you for being our Father, our King, our strength and our hope.  Free us from the depths of distress, O Lord, from guilt, resentment, depression, and anxiety and help us walk in joy,
 trusting in you always, knowing that you are fully in control of our lives and that you are working everything for your glory and our good no matter how things look today, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
