You alone are the Lord


Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise. You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you. Nehemiah 9:5-6

Blessed Lord in heaven, you are faithful, merciful and mighty, and I am thankful to know that everything is under your control and nothing formed against me shall stand when I surrender my life to you. Remind me to hold on to your promises and trust that you will always be by my side, O God, may your loving kindness and mercy be with me and may your Spirit fill my heart, with joy and peace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
