Pray continually

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:15-18
Father God, you are my King and my God, my stronghold and my strength in times of trouble, and I thank you for always hearing my prayers. I ask that you fill me with your Spirit, O Lord, may no circumstance steal the joy and peace that you have given me. May my heart always rejoice with thanksgiving and may your love dwell richly in me as I trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 Mighty and wonderful God in heaven, blessed be your Name in all of the earth, thank you for your amazing promises and wonderful words of love. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
