Live a life worthy of the Lord



Live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. Colossians 1:10-12
Father, I humbly come to your throne of grace, asking you to fill me with your Spirit, that I may live a life worthy of your love and please you in everything I do. Help me bear fruit in every good work, and grow in your knowledge each day. Strengthen me, O God, with all your power according to your glorious might so that I may have great endurance and patience in anything I face and give you joyful thanks in every situation, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
