Let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire."
Hebrews 12:28-29



Thank you my loving Lord in heaven for the hope of your heavenly and everlasting kingdom that cannot be shaken; blessed is your holy name in all of the earth. Purify my heart, cleanse me from within, O God, as I diligently follow you in obedience, ready to do your will. Let me seek your grace, that I may worship you and serve you with reverence and awe, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
