Love one another as he commanded us

​
And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
1 John 3:23-24

Heavenly Father, thank you for your amazing and unfailing love, thank you for the gift of salvation through your Son, Jesus. Please change my heart, O God, fill me with your Holy Spirit and live in me that I may be able to love as you do, forgive as you do and be a reflection of your perfect love and compassion, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
