Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin

Have mercy upon me, O God, According to your lovingkindness;
according to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Psalm 51:1-2

Father God, have mercy on me, I am a sinner, I confess all my sins to you and bring them to your throne of mercy and grace. I ask that you wash me thoroughly from my iniquities, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, O Lord, uphold me by your generous and loving Spirit, guide and teach me your ways, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
