We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

Thank you heavenly Lord for being my rock and my strength in times of trouble, thank you for letting me feel your presence and never let me feel abandoned. Though I may pass through hard times, I ask that your Spirit will lift me up, O God, that your wonderful word and promises will encourage me and help me keep going. Keep me in your loving arms and never let go, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
