The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right


If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. 1 Peter 3:10-12

Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer, help me search for peace and do what is good in your eyes, set a guard over my mouth, keep watch over the door of my lips, do not let my mouth lead me into sin, instead, put your word in my heart that I may be a faithful and fruitful servant and you may delight in me. Help me be swift to hear, but slow to answer, O God, may my words be kind and gracious and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Psalm 139:17-18  Father God, I can't even begin to comprehend that your thoughts toward me outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore, that your thoughts towards me are not thoughts of condemnation or of judgement, but thoughts of absolute love, and all you want to do is to bless me abundantly. Help me surrender my life to you, O Lord, to give you my heart and receive your love and abundant blessings, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
