You did not choose me, but I chose you


 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other. 

John 15:16-17

Thank you Lord for your amazing and everlasting love, thank you for choosing me, a sinner, for loving me before I even knew you. Help me walk in your ways, O God, help me bear fruit for you and be a reflection of your perfect love. Hear my prayers as I ask them in the name of your Son, my wonderful Savior, Jesus and answer them according to your loving will, I pray. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
