He made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness


 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. Philippians 2:5-7


Lord Jesus, I humbly come before your throne of grace with a grateful heart, to thank you and give you praise for being my God, my Savior and my Redeemer. I ask forgiveness for my sins, O Lord. Make me your humble servant, guide my steps and help me walk in your likeness and help me keep my eyes focused on you regardless of what goes on around me, I pray. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 Mighty and wonderful God in heaven, blessed be your Name in all of the earth, thank you for your amazing promises and wonderful words of love. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
