Forgive us our sins


 He said to them, “When you pray, say: ‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation." Luke 11:2-4


Lord God Almighty, you sit enthroned forever; all my inmost being, praises your holy name. Thank you for being compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. Help me be forgiving and full of your love, help me be more like you and fill me with your Spirit. May the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, as I rejoice in you and seek you daily with all of my heart, I pray in Jesus's name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble

God is our refuge and strength,  an ever-present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear,  though the earth give way and  the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,  though its  waters  roar and foam  and the mountains quake with their surging.  Psalm 46:1-3 Father God, thank you so much for being my refuge and strength, thank you for being there for me when I face troubles.  Help me  live  one day at a time without fear, O Lord, trusting that you will make all things right in your time. Help me surrender to your will  so that I may be at peace and praise you though the storms, I pray in Jesus' nam e.  Amen
