Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 Thank you Father God, for your promises, for being so patient with us, for waiting for each of us to come and surrender our lives to you so that we will not perish, but have everlasting life. May the desire of my heart be like yours, O Lord, that no one will perish, that all should know you so they too will be in your glorious kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
