I will wait for the Lord

The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:24-26 Almighty God in heaven, your throne endures forever; your mercy and grace are fresh every morning. Thank you for reminding us that the plans you have for us will always exceed our wildest expectations. Help me seek you with all my heart, O Lord, to trust in you, and quietly waiting for your perfect timing, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 Mighty and wonderful God in heaven, blessed be your Name in all of the earth, thank you for your amazing promises and wonderful words of love. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
