My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. John 1:1-3 Thank you Lord Jesus for coming to dwell among us, you, who created the world, died for the world, you are full of compassion, grace, truth and mercy and I am so thankful to be your child. Guide my steps, O Lord, help me walk the path you have set before me, the path that lead to eternal life at your side, I pray. Amen

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. James 4:7-8 Praise be to you, Mighty God, creator of the universe, who have great mercy and love for your people. Help me submit my whole heart to you and keep me humble, O Lord, give me the power and strength to resist the attacks of the enemy that he may flee far away from me. Bring me close to you, give me your everlasting peace and pour your Holy Spirit on me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.  If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 1 John 1:5-6  Loving Father in heaven, you are faithful and just, you will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness  Let your Word be a lamp unto my feet, O God, that I may not walk around in darkness, stumble and fall, but be filled with the light of your glory, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement through the shedding of his blood – to be received by faith. Romans 3:23-25 Thank you for your amazing and unconditional love, Lord, thank you for sending your Son that we may be redeemed. I know I am a sinner and fall short of your glory daily and I need your grace and forgiveness, O God. Keep me by your loving side and help me remember the great sacrifice that was paid on the cross that I may have eternal life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.  Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. James 3:17-18 Mighty God in heaven, give me wisdom to be peace-loving and merciful just as you are merciful. May I surrender my will to you and give you my whole heart, O God that I may do your will, sow peace and reap a harvest of righteousness, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground.  Ephesians 6:12-13 Help us remember that we can be victorious because the battle is not ours, the battle has been won by your Son, Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Help us put on your full armor to fight against the attacks of the enemy, O Lord, to be ready for anything that comes our way through prayer and faithfulness, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.  Micah 7:7 Mighty God, thank you for being our Father, our King, our strength and our hope.  Free us from the depths of distress, O Lord, from guilt, resentment, depression, and anxiety and help us walk in joy,  trusting in you always, knowing that you are fully in control of our lives and that you are working everything for your glory and our good no matter how things look today, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
