Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16

Father God, I am far from being righteous, I am a sinner, and I humbly come to your throne asking for forgiveness of my sins. If there is unforgiveness, resentment or bitterness in my heart or anything that is hindering my prayer, I ask that you wash it away, cleanse my O Lord, that you my be attentive to my prayers; guard my heart and never let me wander from the truth, in Jesus, my Savior's name I pray. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
