Do everything without grumbling or arguing

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. 
Philippians 2:14-16
Father, I may not always like my situation, but I know that I am where I need to be at this time and that you always have a purpose for everything. Help me remember not to grumble, argue, complain about anything, but to shine like a star for you in every situation, O God, that I will be found blameless and pure in your eyes, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 Mighty and wonderful God in heaven, blessed be your Name in all of the earth, thank you for your amazing promises and wonderful words of love. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
