All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 
2 Timothy 3:16-17

 Holy Lord in heaven, I ask that you give me hunger for your word, that you give me wisdom and understanding. Help me to grow in knowledge of your word and your will for my life that I may bare good fruit for your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 Mighty and wonderful God in heaven, blessed be your Name in all of the earth, thank you for your amazing promises and wonderful words of love. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
