Every good and perfect gift is from above

Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Father God, you are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and I am so thankful you are my God. I want to glorify you in all I do and not take your loving kindness for granted, give me a thankful and grateful heart to appreciate every blessing your have given me, O Lord, to remember that every good and perfect gift comes from you. May my heart always overflow with gratitude and may my actions reflect the love I have for you, I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
