For we are God’s handiwork

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

Faithful Lord in heaven, thank you for creating me in your image, thank you for bringing me into this world to enjoy life and live to serve and worship you. I am grateful to be your handiwork, I know you are not done with me yet, I ask that you continue to work on me, O God, to make me and mold me into the person you created me to be and to do the work you prepared for me to do, so that I may become your masterpiece, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
