The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever

“All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall,  but the word of the Lord endures forever.1 Peter 1:24-25

Thank you merciful Lord for loving me so much and teaching me what is important in life, that it is not looks, or our earthly treasures, but who we really are and our attitudes and relationship with you that matters. Keep reminding me this world is temporary, O God, and everything in it will be gone one day, but your living and enduring word and promises will endure forever, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
