The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace

The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever. The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace. Psalm 29:10-11

Merciful and loving Father in heaven, your peace and strength are eternal, you are enthroned as King over everything, and I am thankful to be able to come to your throne of grace. When my spirit gets overwhelmed with the floods of this world, fill me with your peace and strength, O God, draw me from the depths and into your glorious arms and keep reminding me not to live in fear, but live in peace knowing that you sit on the throne, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
