Listen to advice and accept discipline

Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. Proverbs 19:20

Merciful Lord, Creator of all, thank you for letting your Holy Spirit reprimand me when I am wrong, thank you for leading me to repentance and for your amazing love and grace. May I willingly accept when your Spirit disciplines me with a grateful heart and may I receive wisdom and understanding as I walk in righteousness before you I pray in Jesus' name.

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
