Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27 

Merciful Lord, I humbly come to your throne of grace today to claim your promises, I want the peace that only you can give, the peace that this world could never give or understand. I ask that you fill me with your comfort and love, that I will not be afraid and trust that you will handle anything I need to face today. May my heart not be troubled as I put my worries and cares in your precious hands I pray, in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
