Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 1 Peter 2:2

Thank you Father God, for another day of life, for a new year and new opportunities to serve you. Help me crave pure spiritual milk, O Lord, that I may grow in faith, in wisdom and in love for you and your Word. May everything I say and do reflect the love I have for you, may I bring you honor and glory to your Holy Name, I pray in Jesus, my Lord and Savior's name, I pray. Amen.

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
