​For our struggle is not against flesh and blood

​For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground. Ephesians 6:12-13

Merciful Lord in heaven, it is easy to forget that our struggles come from the dark world and forces greater than we can handle on our own. Help us remember that we can be victorious because the battle is not ours, the battle has been won by your Son, Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Help us put on your full armor to fight against the attacks of the enemy, O Lord, to be ready for anything that comes our way through prayer and faithfulness, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Psalm 139:17-18  Father God, I can't even begin to comprehend that your thoughts toward me outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore, that your thoughts towards me are not thoughts of condemnation or of judgement, but thoughts of absolute love, and all you want to do is to bless me abundantly. Help me surrender my life to you, O Lord, to give you my heart and receive your love and abundant blessings, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
