The Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone


 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 2:24-25


Creator of all, I humbly come to you today asking you to change my heart, to give me a gentle and noble heart. I ask that you fill me with your Spirit, that I may walk in humility, walk in love and be your humble servant. Teach me to be patient, O God, seal my lips when they need to be sealed and but your words in my mouth when you want me to speak that I may be used as an instrument for your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
