My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

But you, LORD, are a shield around me,  my glory, the One who lifts my head high.  I call out to the LORD,  and he answers me from his holy mountain. I lie down and sleep;  I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.  Psalm 3:3-5 You are my shield, O God, and I know that you are close to those who call upon your Holy Name. I am so thankful that I can sleep in peace and wake up knowing that it is you who lifts me up and sustains me. May your loving arms surround me and may I never forget you are my loving Father, who will always take care of me, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is useful for teaching,  rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,   so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.  2 Timothy 3:16-17 Holy Lord in heaven, I ask that you give me hunger for your word, that you give me wisdom and understanding. Help me to grow in knowledge of your word and your will for my life that I may bare good fruit for your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3:12-14 Lord, I want to lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness, dignity and obeying your will. Strengthen me, O God, that I may do what is right at all times, help me keep my spirit, soul and body be sound and blameless before you, forgiving and loving in kindness as you do; clothe me with compassion and gentleness, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. Philippians 3:20-21 Holy Lord in heaven, I cannot wait for the glorious day when our Savior returns and we get to see you face to face, and live at your side without sickness, sadness or death. Until that day comes, may I grow in wisdom and spiritual understanding, may I walk blameless in your sight, O God, and may you use me for your glory and purpose, in Jesus' glorious name, I pray. Amen

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:3435 Father God, give me a loving and forgiving heart, a heart after your own, a heart that longs to be obedient to your will and love unconditionally. I ask that you send your Holy Spirit to live in me, that I may be a reflection of your love and live as your disciple while I am here on earth, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:22-23 Cleanse me from all my sins, O God, wash them away and make me pure in your sight. Help me draw near to you with a sincere heart, Lord, help me hold on to the hope you have given us and be faithful to you no matter what I face each day, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. James 3:13 Merciful Father, blessed be your name above all names, I need the wisdom that can only come from you. Give me that wisdom, O Lord, give me a humble heart that desires to do good deeds without expecting anything back, a heart that desires to serve, obey your word and produce good fruit for your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
