Peace I give to you

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. John 14:27-28

 My God and my Lord, creator of heaven and earth, I humbly ask you to give me the peace that only you can give, the peace that surpasses all human understanding. I ask that you guard my heart, O God, take away any anxiety, fear, and worry in my heart as I put all my trust in you. Let me rejoice knowing that I am in your holy hands, and that you are already taking care of things for me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 Mighty and wonderful God in heaven, blessed be your Name in all of the earth, thank you for your amazing promises and wonderful words of love. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
