Wait upon the Lord

I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! Psalm 27:13-14

God does not cause trials, but allows us to face them to grow in faith and change us. He lets us go through such times because it’s the only way prepare us to meet His plan for our lives; to shape up our character and attitudes. But He will never forsake or leave us, He will not allow us to walk through a trial on our own. He wants to renew our strength at the end of the trial period. Even when you don't see and end to your trial, wait upon the Lord, be strong and take courage because He is not idle, He is working things out for you, He will never lave you.

Thank you, Father God, for carrying us through trials, for your promises that you will never leave or forsake us. Though we walk through dark valleys, let us remember that you are at our side. Strengthen us, O Lord, fill our heart with courage as we faithfully wait for you to take care of things, we pray in Jesus' name. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
