For in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock

“The steadfast of mind you will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in you.“Trust in the Lord forever, For in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock. Isaiah 26:3-4

Everlasting God, Creator of the ends of the earth, you are my rock, my fortress and my deliverer and I thank you for faithfully hearing my prayers. Help me look beyond what I can see and put my trust in you always, O God, give me your comfort and grace. Help me grow in faith and courage and focus on your promises and love as you wrap your loving arms around me each day, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
