Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you

Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. Luke 6:27-29

Great and awesome God in heaven, we all have sinned against you and yet you are merciful and forgiving, you don't ever treat us as we deserve to be treated, but love us with unconditional and everlasting love. Teach me to love as you do, Father, teach me to be humble, gentle and forgiving. Give me a loving and kind spirit and fill my heart with your love and mercy so that my reactions to situations will reflect the love I have for you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
