In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice

Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. Psalm 5:2-3

My King and my God, I thank you for another day of life, I thank you for your abundant blessings, your never-ending mercy and grace and for hearing my voice. I humbly come to you this morning to ask forgiveness of my sins, and to lay my request before you, O Lord, I put all my burdens and fears in your hands and ask that you will bring me peace as I wait expectantly on you, in Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
