Humble yourself, pray and seek God's face


If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Thank you Lord for reminding me to be humble and turn away from wickedness that you may hear my prayers from your heavenly throne. Forgive me Lord because my heart can be so wicked and my flesh so weak, I stumble, fall and struggle. Help me seek you with all my heart, to humble myself before you and submit my will to your mighty and loving hands that your ears may be attentive to the prayers of my heart and you may lift me up and heal my soul, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
