Let your light shine before others

​You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16
Loving Father, I thank you because you never fails to help those whom you have set upon the sure foundation of your loving-kindness; through Jesus my Lord. Let your Holy Spirit fill my heart that I may be a bright light shining in this dark world for you, O God. May everything I do be to glorify and honor you, and may your precious light shine on me daily, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble

God is our refuge and strength,  an ever-present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear,  though the earth give way and  the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,  though its  waters  roar and foam  and the mountains quake with their surging.  Psalm 46:1-3 Father God, thank you so much for being my refuge and strength, thank you for being there for me when I face troubles.  Help me  live  one day at a time without fear, O Lord, trusting that you will make all things right in your time. Help me surrender to your will  so that I may be at peace and praise you though the storms, I pray in Jesus' nam e.  Amen
