Peace I leave with you

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27
My God and my Lord, creator of heaven and earth, I humbly ask you to give me the peace that only you can give, the peace that surpasses all human understanding. I ask that you guard my heart, O God, take away any anxiety, fear, and worry in my heart as I put all my trust in you. Let me rejoice knowing that I am in your precious hands, and that you are already taking care of things for me, even when I cannot see, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
