When I am afraid, I put my trust in you

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? Psalm 56:3-4
Heavenly Lord, help us remember that no matter what happens in our lives, you are in control and you will take care of us. Remind us to lean on you, to put all our faith and trust in you, our Mighty God and, help us hear your voice of comfort when we are afraid and fill us with your peace, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12 Mighty and wonderful God in heaven, blessed be your Name in all of the earth, thank you for your amazing promises and wonderful words of love. Help me walk the path you have for me, O Lord, help me to stay strong and firm in faith always in every situation, that I may one day receive the crown of life you have promised, I pray in Jesus' name.
