​For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

​For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. Romans 3:23-25
Thank you Lord for giving us your Son even though we did nothing to deserve His love and sacrifice, thank you for the redemption that came thorough Him to those who believe. I know that I fall short of your glory and I humbly come at the foot of the cross asking to wash away my sins, to cleanse me from all unrighteousness, make me pure and clean in your sight, O God, as I choose to follow Jesus, your Son and my Redeemer, in His Name I pray. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
