While we were still sinners, Christ died for us

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8
Blessed redeemer, thank you for your amazing sacrifice on the cross, for humbling yourself and carrying the cross, you who knew no sin, paid the ransom for all while we were yet sinners. Thank you for showing us how much you love us, O Lord, may we glorify your name in all we do, may we put all our hope and trust in you, who delivered us form our sins, I pray in your Holy Name. Amen

Thank the Lord, for He is good

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
