He is not here: for he is risen

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Matthew 28:5-6
Lord Jesus, you are our King, enthroned on high, you sit at the right hand of our Father in heaven, you had victory over death and you paid for our sins, while we were yet sinners. Help us set our hope in you, O Lord, to stand firm in our faith, to surrender and submit all to you. Help us reflect your glory with unveiled faces, that we may become more like you each day, full of love and compassion for others, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
