Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly

​Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord. Psalm 1:1-2
Holy Lord, I thank you for calling me to be your child, I thank you for making me a new creation and I humbly ask that you give me wisdom to walk in righteousness. Guide my steps, purify my thoughts, and help me not to walk in the counsel of the ungodly, O God, but walk in obedience and delight in your ways and your Word each day, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
