While we were still sinners, Christ died for us

For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8
Lord, I will never be able to fully understand the amazing sacrifice on the cross, but I do cherish and appreciate it, I know that I will never be worthy of your love, but I am grateful to have it. Bless me, O God, strengthen me and keep reminding me of your everlasting love daily, may my ways be blameless before man and before you. May my ways and thoughts be pure, not only obeying your will, but believing and trusting you always, I pray in Jesus' my Lord and your precious Son's name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
